EXPERIENCE

Jim has been practicing law since 1967, specializing primarily in wealth preservation, taxation, estate planning, estate and trust administration, executive benefit and compensation planning, financial planning, retirement planning, business and individual tax compliance and planning, business contracts and transactions, and tax litigation.
 

Jim is in his fourth decade of providing legal services to prominent Toledo-area individuals and families and to major and mid-size Toledo-area corporations and other business entities. Jim has maintained significant client relationships of long duration by providing exceptional legal services on a timely basis at a reasonable cost. Jim utilizes a team of experienced lawyers and paralegals and the latest in software and other legal technology to address the complex legal needs of individuals and their families and corporations and other business entities. These legal services range from commonplace buy/sell agreements, estate plan documents and tax returns to complex business transactions, prenuptial agreements and paternity settlements. Jim is also well versed in the tax issues impacting the business of tax-exempt entities.
