Kim received her law degree from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 2001. She was a member of the Buffalo Law Review; Publications Editor.

Prior to joining the firm, she was associated with the law firm of O’Shea, Reynolds & Cummings in Buffalo, New York.

Her practice consists of appellate practice appellate practice, hospital liability, medical malpractice, personal injury litigation, probate, estate planning and administration, elder law and general practice

In 2006 she tried a personal injury bus accident case to a defense verdict in a summary jury trial in the Erie County Supreme Court in Buffalo, New York.

In 2007, she prevailed on an appeal at the Fourth Department in a dental malpractice case where the Appellate Division upheld the grant of summary judgment on statute of limitations grounds, despite an argument of continuing treatment by the plaintiff.
