Experience

Ray has been practicing law since 1975. His practice has been concentrated in technical litigation, carrying out the successful defense of many varied products manufacturers, from automotive to medical devices and pharmaceutical, and of physicians, dentists, surgeons and hospitals. He has also successfully tried commercial and insurance contract cases, leasing and other real estate disputes, toxic tort and premises liability allegations, and construction litigation.

He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the Tenth Circuit, several U.S. District Courts and the Supreme Court of Ohio.

Ray has served as an arbitrator on tribunals deciding medical malpractice lawsuits. He lectures on legal issues such as medical and dental malpractice, living wills and other health care issues, insurance law, trial practice and nursing home care to professional groups.
