Experience

Laurie A. Watson is a partner in the Trusts & Estates practice group. Laurie was admitted to the bar in 2002, and earned her Certified Specialist designation from the Ohio State Bar Association in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate in 2010. Laurie concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, income and estate/gift tax planning, probate and trust administration, and charitable gift planning. Laurie also advises clients with regard to the formation and administration of nonprofit corporations, including public charities and private foundations. 
 
Professional memberships include the Toledo Estate Planning Council where she is the President-Elect, the Toledo Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. She is a board member at Swan Creek Retirement Village and is a past board member of the Toledo Area Partnership for Philanthropic Planning (formerly the Toledo Area Planned Giving Council).
