Ms. Miller was born and raised in Huntington, WV and is a partner in our West Virginia offices. Prior to her legal education, she studied Business and Marketing at the Lewis College of Business at Marshall University. Ms. Miller attended the West Virginia University College of Law where she served as a Member of the West Virginia University Moot Court Board and was elected Secretary of the Moot Court Board. During the pursuit of her law degree, Ms. Miller competed in the Fordham Securities Law Competition, worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Judith Scully at the College of Law and as a Sports Law Research Assistant for Dean Dana Brooks at the WVU School of Physical Education. Ms. Miller earned her law degree in 2008.

Following her admission to the West Virginia Bar in 2008, Ms. Miller's law practice has focused on defending state agencies and political subdivisions, as well as representing clients in the areas of employment law, premises liability, automobile negligence, and medical malpractice throughout the state of West Virginia.

In 2010, Ms. Miller was appointed by West Virginia's Governor Joe Manchin to serve as the Vice Chair of the West Virginia Women's Commission. In 2012, Ms. Miller was elected to the West Virginia State Bar's Young Lawyers Committee.  In 2015, Ms. Miller completed her term on the Young Lawyers Committee and was elected to the West Virginia State Bar's Board of Governors.

Ms. Miller is a member of the West Virginia State Bar, and is also admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia.

She is also a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
