Anspach Meeks Ellenberger LLP was founded in 1986 by managing partner Bob Anspach. Before founding this firm, Bob was both the managing partner and trial department administrator for the Toledo law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick. Our firm has enjoyed steady growth and success since its founding.

In 1998, Anspach Meeks Ellenberger LLP merged with the Tiffin, Ohio, office of Dell & Dell, now known as Dell, Burtis & Anspach. In 1999, at the request of a major client, Anspach Meeks Ellenberger LLP opened its office in Buffalo, New York, and now provides legal services throughout the State of New York. In 2006, several attorneys from the Toledo law firm of Fuller & Henry joined the Toledo Office and expanded the firm’s traditional litigation practice into the areas of estate planning, trusts, taxation, and corporate law. Also in 2006, several attorneys from the Buffalo law firm of O’Shea, Reynolds & Cummings joined the Buffalo Office adding additional experience to our litigation department and expanding our Buffalo office practice areas as well.
